When Sparks Fly by Helena Hunting was a friends to lover story filled with great characters, a great story and that humor that Helena does so well.
Avery and Declan are best friends, roommates and always there for each other. Declan has always had a crush on Avery but never acted on it.
A car accident changes everything, and Declan becomes more than just a friend.
These two together have such chemistry and sizzling interactions. I just loved the banter, the caring nature, and Declan’s love that develops.
Their friendship evolved into so much more. There was some angst thrown in too, but overall it was a sweet story that developed from tragedy. I also loved the personal growth we saw from the characters dealing with their past issues to enable them to be open, honest and capable of loving each other to the fullest extent.
I really enjoyed this story, and these characters.

I just loved Kiss and Don’t Tell by Meghan Quinn. It was the perfect Rom-Com Done in Meghan’s style filled with fun banter, witty conversation, fun times and sexy characters.
Winnie stumbles upon a house after her car breaks down. Turns out it’s a house full of hockey players. From the first scenes, I was laughing and smiling.
Pacey is smitten with Winnie almost immediately. These two have great chemistry. Their friendship and feelings that develop were perfectly written. I just loved their story.
I listened to the audio, and the narrators Jason Clarke and Vanessa Edwin did such a great job bringing these characters to life.
I listen to my audio books in the car, and I would get disappointed when I would get interrupted.
Loved this new series and can’t wait for more from these characters.

At First Hate by KA Linde was a second chance, enemies to lovers story. It was filled with great characters, witty banter and some angst moments that you have come to love from Linde.
Marley comes home after being away at school to take care of her grandmother’s house after her passing. Filled with memories from the past, both good and bad. She had a great, caring grandmother who raised her and her brother after her mother was non-existent. The one person she doesn’t want to see or deal with is the one she has to. Her past love Derek.
Derek is now a lawyer and his dad’s firm is representing Marley’s mom in a case to get her grandmother’s house.
The two have so much chemistry, and I loved how Linde goes between the past and present so you experience their relationship and how they got to their current place.
I really enjoyed this book and story. I loved both characters and what they represented and overcame to get to this point in their lives and know what they want. And who isn’t a sucker for a good second chance romance!
I definitely recommend this book.

OMG! Where to start with this book! I am a huge Natasha Madison fan. Her books just grab me until I am reading the last page.
Southern Sunrise is book 8 in the Southern series. Each one I have loved, and couldn’t put down. The characters in these books feel like a family you want to be a part of. It feels like coming home with each new book.
Reed left to go into the military wanting to escape from his hometown, from living in his father and brothers shadow. Leaving behind everyone to never look back. Six year later he returns after an injury, and his life will never be the same.
Hazel comes back to town after a family emergency. She left six years ago, not wanting to come back, starting a new life for her and her daughter.
Secrets can’t stay hidden forever, almost from the first meeting Reed knows. His life will forever be changed, and give him the piece he was always missing.
I loved this book so much. Reed and Hazel were such good characters, and had great chemistry and love for each other. Hazel showed such strength as a single mom.
This is a book that will pull at your heart strings. A must read from Natasha Madison! 5+ stars!!

The Highland Fling by Meghan Quinn is a perfect rom-com set in Scotland. It’s filled with great characters, lots of laughs and great banter.
Bonnie and her best friend Dakota set out on a adventure to run a coffee shop in Scotland. They answer an ad in the paper, and decide they need a change. Rowan is the son of the coffee shop owners, and makes a great first impression on Bonnie. The two start out like oil and water, but the sparks fly and chemistry ignites. This is a slow burn romance, and there are some funny adventures in between.
I just love romance books set in other countries. Meghan tells the story as if you are there and experiencing it along with her characters. It’s a cute story with a small amount of angst and a whole lotta fun.
Take an adventure to Scotland with Meghan as you will not be disappointed!

When I first heard about this book I didn’t know what to expect. Paranormal romance is not my usual genre, however, when Emma Scott writes a book you know you will not be disappointed. I stepped out of my comfort zone and discovered an amazing book filled with heart, soul and love. The Sinner is a story about true love, sacrifice and soulmates.
Lucy Dennings is a good soul who lives content with her life, helping the environment and wanting a love like she reads in her romance novels.
A dark night, a dead body and a beautiful but dark creature turns into all that Lucy was missing and the healing of her empty heart.
Cas is from the other side living a life as a demon to atone for what he thinks he deserves. He has limited time with Lucy to try to heal her in exchange for his life. He wants to ensure she will be healed and love again.
There is a connection that Lucy feels to Cas and through her dreams and memories you come to learn about them. To experience their love and connection to each other, will be felt deep within your soul. Emma’s words and characters will have you feeling so many emotions as you learn about their story.
There are so many layers to this story besides the love story. There are touches of the paranormal, history and belief in the afterlife.
I do not normally read PNR, and didn’t know what to expect, but I was glued to the page, to Emma’s words, and these characters. Every book Emma writes has you feeling so much, and knowing about Emma’s personal loss, and knowing where her words comes from, makes you feel it even more.
This is a must read book, and I wish I could give it more than 5 stars!

Love Next Door is not your typical Helena Hunting book. It was a small town, family oriented story with great characters, and the type of story you might see on Hallmark.

Next door neighbors Dillion and Van had chemistry from the start like oil and water. Suspicious of each other’s real motives at first, changing to attraction to great friends and more. These two were destined or maybe pushed in each other’s direction.

Van comes to live and restore his Grandma Bee’s house. Leaving behind dysfunction and his life falling apart. Dillion moves home to help her family in their time of need. These two together found love and a home together. It is a slow burn, sweet romance that will make your heart feel good as they find their happily ever after.

Their relationship is filled with fun banter, witty comebacks and a whole lot of fun. Helena Hunting’s books always leave me with a smile on my face. This is a great small town romance not to be missed!

I just love Natasha Madison’s books and Southern Secret was a perfect addition to this series. It is book 7 in the Southern series and each book is filled with great characters, stories, a little suspense and a whole lotta romance.
Amelia has been hurt before. She wants to be able to have the life she wants and not rely on a man for anything after a broken heart.
Asher has a broken past, and doesn’t stay in one place for very long. Get out before you get attached. That is until he meets Amelia, and sparks ignite.
There is so much sweetness between them, and lots of chemistry. The caring way of Asher shines through, even though, he is broken.
Asher has a secret he is hiding that leads to some angst, and suspense as the connections of the past are discovered.
These two are so good together. They complement each other, and Asher is such a protector, always putting Amelia ahead of his own wants and needs.
Each book in this series has been amazing, and each with their own secrets and twists.
It’s a book filled with small town romance, hidden secrets and family above all else. It’s a series and book not to be missed! Natasha Madison has another winner with Southern Secrets!

I love sports romances and Rebecca Jenshak’s Campus Nights series is so good. I love her characters, writing and storylines.
Rhett is so swoon worthy. He is fun, caring and not your typical jock. Sienna is sweet, kind and really doesn’t want to like Rhett. She is a figure skater, he is a hockey player but together they are so good. They have great chemistry and banter.
This story has all the feels and emotions that you have come to expect and want in a story. After seeing Rhett in previous books, it was so nice to get to know him. He always had the serious, long distance relationship until it ended. Meeting Sienna changed him, and you could not help but fall in love with him.
My heart hurt for him and the angst he felt and Sienna felt when he pushed her away.
These characters end up feeling like family. I love revisiting them in the next books as secondary ones.
I found Rebecca’s books through a program where health care workers were being thanked during Covid, and I became an instant fan. I can’t wait for Maverick’s story and more sports romances from her.

Vi Keeland just writes fabulous books. I have fallen in love with another of her characters.
Donovan is a top notch lawyer on his way to becoming partner. He is good looking, but has a past he doesn’t talk about to many. A luggage mishap and a weekend getaway brings him and Autumn together. She doesn’t want a relationship and shy’s away from anything serious. Not having really dealt with her past, makes her run from anything meaningful. Donovan can’t stop thinking about her. Autumn is a social worker helping kids in tough situations.
Asked to take on a pro bono case, Donovan and Autumn come face to face again. Will working together force these two to deal with their past and have a future together?
One of the things I loved most about this book were the layers to each character. There was so much to learn about them as they faced their journey. Donovan wanting more than just his work. Autumn facing her past to finally allowing herself to love and care.
There was so much chemistry between the two of them, and a friendship that they built throughout. This book kept you glued from the start.
I loved everything about this book! Another hit from Vi Keeland!
