Corinne MIchaels has done it again. She has managed to put unbelievable words to the paper to tear your heart out and make you emotional. This book was heart wrenching at times, beautifully written and tough at times due to the story content. I had to put it down as the emotions took over. This book is that good!

I love sports romances and Sara Ney writes them so well. Her characters are great, stories fun and entertaining.
Georgia and Ashley were such a fun and unexpected couple. Georgia is a new transfer and a senior to boot. Her track team is hazing her to find an ugliest guy in the house and ask him on a date. Ashley is the first guy she sees and he is not too fond of her. Assigned to the same group in class, they end of as friends and then roommates. There is so much more to these two. They are filled with laughs, chemistry and fun times. They have great banter, and the British lingo adds a fun element to the story.
Ashley is different from a lot of other leads. He is more scruffy, and rough around the edges but so sweet and caring.
Their escapades and adventures are a surprise and take the story in a fun twist. I would have liked more development in the ending as it felt rushed and not complete. Overall I really enjoyed this story and these characters.

The Perfect Catch by Meghan Quinn is the next installment of the Brentwood boys books. It can be read as a standalone. It’s a sports romance filled with great characters and your next book boyfriend.
Walker is the catcher with a reputation of having a temper. His image is in need of some help. Kate is assigned to help him soften it and make him more liked by the fans.
From the start the two have chemistry and a spark. Their flirty banter and fun times are what you have come to expect from Meghan’s books. Being together is against the work rules, but as the two spend more time together, they have this magnetic attraction to each other.
Walker has a good side, but his image shows him as grumpy. Kate changes that. This book had love, forbidden romance, a twist and all that you love about Meghan’s writing and characters.
If you love Meghan, sports romances or just a great book, The Perfect Catch is for you!

Where to start with this book… Marni Mann has a way with stories that have you guessing throughout and not until she wants the reader to know the twist, you will not. Her stories are all encompassing and suck you in until the very last word. this book was amazing!
I do not want to say much about this book except run don’t walk to pick up a copy.
Although this is book 3 in the series, they can all be read as standalone. This was my favorite in the series. I was so engrossed in the characters and the story that Marni weaved within the pages, I didn’t want it to end.
When Darkness Ends tells the story of Pearl, an inspiring actress, care taker of her grandmother and hard worker trying to survive. When she meets Ashe, she doesn’t want to let him in, but she eventually does. The two fall in love and think about the future until tragedy strikes.
The story is told in POV’s from both characters in a before and after of the event.
This is a story about loving someone forever, never letting go and healing. This is a must read!

I love Natasha Madison’s books & have loved this series so much! Southern Heat is book 6 in the Southern series. This book picks up right where book 5 finishes. You really need book 5 to get the back story. This series is so good & the stories in each and all the characters throughout will make you want to read from the beginning.
Willow was such a great character. Talk about being broken and surviving. You heart felt for her on every page. She was complex and yet simple at the same time. There were many layers to her.
Quinn was her savior and became her protector. They met under the most difficult of circumstances, yet from the first moment there was a pull. He wouldn’t leave her side.
The story between these two is so different from the others in this series. I think it became my favorite. I loved Willow and Quinn. Their friendship and the way Quinn helped a stranger just got me in my heart. Willow was part innocent and part survivor. She needed to learn to trust and love. Quinn helped her from the first moment to survive and taught her how to love.
I devoured this story from the first page to the last. One of my favorite of Natasha’s books! A must read for everyone!

The One I Want by SL Scott was a feel good story with a meet cute theme.
Andrew is the CEO of a company, a bit uptight and not happy about moving from the west coast to the east coast.
Juni is a free spirit, a breath of free air and what Andrew aka Drew didn’t know he was missing.
The two are thrown together by destiny, a chance encounter and a series of coincidences. They are complete opposites but fit so well together. They were such a fun pair to get to know and see their relationship progress from strangers to friends to an office romance to lovers.
The characters had great banter, were well developed and very fun to read. Fall in love with the quirky Juni and Drew in this meet cute romance!

Best book of 2021! I absolutely loved this story and the characters of Stella and Jack. I took my time reading it to savior each moment and let myself feel the words as the characters did.
Stella and Jack spent a night together on her Eighteenth birthday that would forever change them. A secret that they held close to them while they lived their lives apart. Stolen glances whenever they were near. They were soulmates kept apart by never wanting to deal with their inner pain.
When Stella and Jack are faced with a tough choice they do what anyone in their position would. Put someone else first,and in turn possibly break their hearts all over again.
Stella and Jack have a love so strong that when they finally give in and let themselves love each other, it is stronger than anyone thought possible.
Could Have Been Us by Corinne Michaels is a story about love, loss, healing and above all else family.
This is a story that will tear at your heart, and then put it back together again. I highly recommend it!

Bad Crush by Rebecca Jenshak is book 2 in the Campus Nights series. It can be read as a standalone & they are all sports related. Rebecca’s stories are addicting, her characters are loveable and they are fun to read. You just want to be part of their friend group.
Reagan has had a crush on Adam, her best friends brother, for so long. She always thought she would be in the friend zone. Enter a fake date and relationship and what was once a dream is now reality. The two clicked from the start. There was a realness to them, however, Adam has a bad relationship history and Reagan has trust issues. The two had a little angst to work through but they both learned to lean on each other.
I just loved these two characters and their story. It’s great that we see the other characters and will get two more books. I can’t wait for more from this gang.

I love Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland books. Every book never fails to disappoint, and I fall in love with new characters and stories.
Not Pretending Anymore was one of my favorites.
Molly and Declan were so much fun to read. Their flirty banter, their fake turned real romance and their caring ways for each other will tug at your heart and leave you smiling for more.
Molly needed a roommate. Declan needed a place to live. Cue the cupcakes as a bribe, and each got what they wanted. Molly wanted to be with a doctor from work. Declan wanted his advertising partner. Sometimes getting what you want isn’t all its cracked up to be.
As they each realize how they really feel, will it be too late or will they get their hearts true desire?
This is a story of friendship turned to lovers, missing what is right in front of you and falling in love with your best friend.
I couldn’t put this book down, ad was so sad when it was over. I just loved these characters so much. It left me feeling good, happy and smiling. What more could you ask for? From Penelope and Vi, it’s why do we have to wait so long between books. They are the best writing duo out there! 5+ stars for their books!!!

I am such a fan of Natasha Madison’s books and Southern Heart did not disappoint. It grabbed me from the beginning and I devoured it from first page to the last.
I just fell in love with Chelsea and Mayson. Chelsea is loving, caring and independent. Mayson has poor self-esteem, grew up not knowing what love was and doesn’t think he is worthy of being loved. Chelsea has always had a crush on Mayson, and thought her feelings were unrequited. Together they discover sometimes you just can’t help who you love and when you know you know!
Mayson comes from an abusive home life, and has experienced first hand loss, and being on your own. Chelsea has an amazing family. Together they have great chemistry, and she helps him to heal in more ways than one, on the outside but also on the inside. They are one of my favorite couples.
This has been such an amazing series, with deep characters having to overcome their past. Southern Heart has all that and more. It was truly addicting. I couldn’t put it down. Natasha’s writing, her characters and stories keep me coming back. She is my go to author to just get lost in her world. This is a definite read that you must one click today!
