For All She Knew by Jamie Beck

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a story about friendship, family and the ability to forgive, For All She Knows is book 3 in the Potomac Point series. They can all be read as a standalone. This story really got to me. Being a mom of a teen, my greatest fear is something happening to my child. Would I be strong enough to survive?
Grace has never dealt with her past, but is determined to be a better mom than hers was. She seems to have the perfect life until an accident occurs. Mimi is divorced, raising her son on her own, and not well liked in the town. Together these two are best friends, and get each other and have always been there for each other.
Fast forward to a party, a tragedy, and two families torn apart. Can they find a way to get back the friendship they once had?
I just loved the alternating chapters and hearing their thoughts and struggles. Grace had to work through her grief, her past and her guilt. Mimi has her own guilt, but was still there for Grace and her family through it all. My heart broke for what Grace was going through as a mom, and could completely relate to her feelings of wanting reparations from the guilty parties. My heart also broke for Mim, and how alone she felt when Grace shut her out. I really enjoyed this story, the characters and writing style of the author. My favorite of the 3 books in the series.

Hard Luck by Sara Ney

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I just loved Hard Luck by Sara Ney. It was a fun, put you in a good mood and make you smile book. I think sports romances are my favorite. If I am in a reading slump or feeling down, these just pick me right up.
The first two books in this series deal with the Wallace brothers, and now we get True’s story, their sister.
True Wallace is in the sports field, but doesn’t have the talent of her brothers. She doesn’t usually date athletes as her brothers scare them away. At Buzz Wallace’s wedding, she meets Mateo and they hit it off. Mateo is the teammate of Buzz Wallace. True decides a one night stand would be fun, and then she can sneak away. Fast forward a few months later, and surprise! She shows up at her brother Tripp’s doorstep, homeless and pregnant.
This book was so much fun and kept me smiling. I didn’t want it to end. I just love these characters so much. Mateo was a breath of fresh air, and every girls dream. Having been raised with 5 sisters, he knows how to treat a woman. True and Mateo have such good chemistry, and an amazing connection. I could feel Sara’s personality in these characters. And the scenes involving Buzz was pure hilarity. I really hope there are more to come in this series.
5 feel good, put you in a good mood stars

The Last Piece of his Heart by Emma Scott

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Last Piece of His Heart by Emma Scott is book 3 and the last of the Lost Boys series. This is a series not to be missed! Emma has a way of drawing the reader in, pulling on their heart strings, and not letting go. Her writing is beautiful and emotional.
Ronan has led a hard life, losing his mom, having an abusive father, losing his parents and being an orphan. He is broken, does not know how to accept love and has never had anyone to rely on.
Shiloh has her own past to overcome but her spirit was like a breath of fresh air. Together the two were magic. They were there for each other, to love, to protect and to help heal.
The friendship between Miller, Holden and Roan is more like brothers. Through thick and thin, good and bad, they were always there for each other like family. In all the books, the growth of the characters will tug at your heart. Each holds a different place and each had their own struggles but the healing by each will will have you glue to each page and holding your breath at times.
Ronan and Shiloh would do everything for each other, sacrifice it all, and each other for the other one. They compliment each other and help the other heal to find a happiness and feeling of content that neither have ever experienced before.
When Emma Scott writes a book, you know its a must read! You have to experience her characters and stories for yourself. This is a must read book and series!

The Wedding Game by Meghan Quinn

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Wedding Game by Meghan Quinn was a Romance Book Explosion-com in her typical style. It was filled with fun, laughs and heart felt emotion that we have come to love from her books. She will leave you smiling, and happy.

Luna is creative, fun loving and loves her brother. She wants to give him the best wedding, and perfect start for his life with his partner.
Alec is a lawyer, attractive and has drifted away from his family, namely his brother, that he loved and help raise.

The two end up on a reality show, called The Wedding Game, where they complete for a wedding and a great apartment. The story takes you through all the parts of the wedding, but with a twist. You will enjoy many fun, laughable moments as these weddings get put together. As Luna and Alec interact, there is a special bond that begins to form. There is also a lot of chemistry!

As the story progresses, there are some emotions and angst thrown in. This book was a fun rom-com that will leaving you loving Luna and Alec and of course, Meghan Quinn.

Everlast by Alex Grayson

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I do not know where to start with this book. Alex Grayson did a fabulous job with this story. There were so many layers and elements to it. Everlast is book 2 in the Ever series. Book 1 was a prologue to Everlast.
Everlast picks up with Molly and Lincoln’s love story. They were childhood sweethearts and lifetime soulmates.
Their story will rip your heart out, and send you on an emotional rollercoaster. Be prepared for the tears! There was also a sweetness in their love, history and family.
Molly and Lincoln have an everlasting love – Forevermore! They are soulmates. Their love has withstood the test of time. Their connection stronger than one can imagine. Their love was perfect until it wasn’t and tragedy strikes.
I do not want to say very much about this story as you read need to experience it for yourself.
It was so good. I highly recommend it! 5+ stars

Return to Us by Corinne Michaels

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Let me start by saying that Return to Us by Corinne Michaels was amazing! I loved it so much. It is the start of her new Willow Creek Valley series but a spin off from The Arrowood Brothers.
Jessica survived the plane crash with Jacob Arrowood and returns home to heal. The only problem is her former boyfriend Grayson still lives there. He is the one that she left for a life away from this small town, and his parents.
Grayson tried to move on, had a child, but never got over his great love Jessica.
When the two meet again, there is instant chemistry and sparks. They love each other and have never gotten over the other. This story has angst, and more angst but also love that makes hearts melt.
This story is filled with emotion, love and friendship. It is a beautiful telling of true love. This series has great characters, and cannot wait for more in this series.
Corinne just writes such great characters filled with emotion and something to overcome. They make you want to read forever. This book just has to be read!

The Crush by Penelope Ward

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Crush by Penelope Ward is a forbidden relationship, brother/best friend’s sister story. It’s that secret , unrequited crush. Didn’t we all have one of those?
Farrah always crushed on Jace, her brother’s best friend. Jace always looked at Farrah as the younger sister until she was a beautiful woman.
Farrah and Nathan lost their parents in a tragic way. Jace witnessed it, and it has haunted him since.
Farrah and Jace have a long history filled with feelings, emotions and friendship. They have always felt comfortable and at ease with each other.
After Jace returns to help them out, he starts to see Farrah as the adult that she is and starts to have feelings for her. Farrah has never gotten over Jace, and continues to have feelings. They eventually give in to their chemistry and sneak behind Nathan’s back. Secrets can only stay hidden so long. Emotions run wild when they are all confronted with the truth.
Jace does what he feels is best and leaves. Can Jace stay away from Farrah? Can he repair his relationship with Nathan? Will Farrah ever move on from Jace?
This story was an emotional rollercoaster filled with plenty of angst, emotion and love. It’s a story of going after what you want, living life on your terms and healing from tragedy.
Penelope does it again with another amazing book!

Slapshot by Rebecca Jenshak

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I just love sports romances and Rebecca Jenshak writes them so well. I get hooked right from the start. Her stories are addicting, and I have fallen in love with her characters.
Slapshot is part of the MooU series but can be read as a standalone. Kaithlyn has grown up with hockey. And rebelled against it since she was young. Having a famous hockey player as a dad can do that. Forced to get a job on campus, she takes a job with the hockey team as their equipment manager. Enter Lex, a player on the team determined to meet Kaitlyn and become friends.
Lex had his work cut out for him to break down her walls, and let someone in, a hockey player no less. Kaitlyn wanted nothing to do with any hockey player.
The two together were so much fun. I loved their ease and comfort with a little conflict thrown in. They complement each other and bring out the best.
I highly recommend Rebecca Jenshak’s books. You will get hooked!

When We Met by Marni Mann

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

When We Met by Marni Mann is book 2 in the Moments in Boston series. The book takes the reader on a journey that will make you think and question moments in time.
The story begins with the Boston Marathon bombings and follows two characters during this time. Their lives are entwined in different ways, but their connection strong.
This book will leave our head spinning in typical Marni Mann fashion, and there you to continue to think about it and the characters long after you have finished reading it.
Can one moment or choice change the the fate or destiny you were meant for?
When We Met will leave you questioning this and much more as you go for a journey back to Boston.

Only One Touch by Natasha Madison

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Only One Touch by Natasha Madison is book 4 in the Only One series. It can be read as a standalone, but why would you want to. Natasha writes such good sports romances, and is the Queen of hockey!
We have seen glimpses of Nico and Becca in other books, but didn’t really get to know them until this book.
Nico is the owner of a hockey team, the youngest owner in the league. He works a lot and hasn’t wanted a true relationship.
Becca is a sports agent to a lot of players, and runs her company with her brothers. If you are a hockey player, you want Becca on your side.
From the start Nico and Becca have an instant connection and chemistry to ignite any fire. They seem to be on the road to their HEA when drama strikes. Will they be able to come back from deceit? Becca is a strong woman, and a great match for Nico. They complement one another and fit well, challenging each other along the way. There is just enough angst to make you sit on the edge of your seat.
Another great book from Natasha Madison!
